Detailed Itinerary 3 Days Tanzania Safari

Day 1: Our Tour starts with the drive to Tarangire Safari Park, Tanzania’s fifth largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, and cheetah and up to six thousand elephant. You will overnight in the beautiful Safari Lodge based on discussed budget, where you can relax in the large swimming pool after your first Game Drives in Tanzania.

Day 2: Today we wake up early in the morning and after breakfast we will drive into the amazing Ngorongoro crater. The Ngorongoro crater is the largest intact crater in the world, with an estimated 30,000 large mammals living inside permanently. Due to its natural borders, there is an abundance of wildlife throughout the conservation area which is home to the Big Five including the African Black Rhino as well as hyena, zebra and elephants to name a few After the game drive we will drive to Crater rim or Karatu to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: After breakfast we will go to Lake Manyara, an underestimated gem that offers a large ecological variety in a small area This Park is known for its breath taking panoramic views, waterfalls, babbling brooks with clear water, hot springs and more than 400 bird species. We do a game drive in Lake Manyara all day and if you like to walk you can also book a 2 hour walking safari. On foot you can enjoy giraffes, buffaloes and other animals from a good distance. Noteworthy are also the big group of Baboons that often have vociferous quarrels. In the afternoon you drive back to Arusha where you arrive before dinner or transfer you to airport.
