Day 1: In the morning our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and take you to Arusha National Park. Arusha National Park has a rich variety of wildlife. Arusha National Park offers some of the most breathtaking scenery in Northern Tanzania. After lunch, a ranger will accompany you on the walking safari which will give you the chance to experience wildlife up close. In afternoon back to your accommodation in Arusha.
Day 2: Our Tour starts with the drive to Tarangire Safari Park, Tanzania’s fifth largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, and cheetah and up to six thousand elephant. You will overnight in the beautiful Safari Lodge based on our discussed budget, where you can relax in the large swimming pool after your first Game Drives in Tanzania.
Day 3: Today we wake up early in the morning and after breakfast we will drive into the amazing Ngorongoro crater. The Ngorongoro crater is the largest intact crater in the world, with an estimated 30,000 large mammals living inside permanently. Due to its natural borders, there is an abundance of wildlife throughout the conservation area which is home to the Big Five including the African Black Rhino as well as hyena, zebra and elephants to name a few After the game drive we will drive to Crater rim to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 4, 5 and 6: These full days we will head towards the Serengeti National Park. After a few hour drives we will arrive from Karatu town. After lunch we do a game drive all afternoon in this beautiful park. The Serengeti is known for its endless plains of savannah and forest landscapes. The park is famous for the migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and followers. At the end of the day we arrive at the Lodge. Located in the middle of Serengeti, which is perfect for exploring the Serengeti. It’s the perfect retreat for a relaxing moment watching birdlife or a herd of impala grazing quietly around your accommodation area or rather just relax while listening to the sounds of the African bush.
Day 7: After breakfast we head to Lake Natron. The drives from the northern Serengeti are remote, with a desolate, other-worldly beauty and an incomparable feeling of space and antiquity. The roads pass through untraveled Maasai land, with small Bomas and big mountains often in view in a wild, cauterized landscape. From June to November at the lake around two million flamingos gather. On the way to the lodge we can make a stop at the hot springs. We overnight in an en-suite tent at Africa Safari Lake Natron. The lodge has a swimming pool that is embedded in its surrounding landscapes and comes complete with stunning views of neighboring Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai, a still-active volcano. Enjoy the view! From the lodge you can take a 10 minute walk to the lake with your guide.
Day 8: In the morning your guide will take you for an adventurous walk to the Engaresero Waterfalls (make sure to bring walking shoes). Named after the Engare Sero River that originates in the Ngorongoro Highlands and descends through the Rift Valley into the Natron basin. It is one of the few sources of fresh water in the area. The river formed a gorge with steep wall through the millennia. In order to reach the waterfalls you will have to cross the river several times, so make sure to bring some appropriate shoes and equipment. After lunch you’ll head to the small village of Mto Wa Mbu where you will overnight in the beautiful Safari Lodge based on our discussed budget.
Day 9: For our last day of Safari we will visit Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is a soda lake located in the Great Rift Valley, a geological feature that formed millions of years ago and stretches for more than 2,000 kilometers along the eastern side of Africa. Manyara is home to wildlife such as flamingo, giraffes, zebras, hippos and the unique tree climbing lions. We do a game drive in Lake Manyara all day and in the afternoon we drive back to Arusha where we arrive before dinner or we will drive you to airport.
